This procedure is typically for patients who have already lost their teeth and have healed gums. They are made on-site with the look and function of natural teeth.
Same-day dentures are often more natural-looking immediately after the procedure as they do not affect the gums as traditional dentures do. They are also extremely durable and effective, made to withstand extreme wear and tear until the application of permanent dentures if need be. Immediate dentures are also intended to protect gum tissue, help with natural tooth bonding, and serve to control or limit bleeding that often occurs with traditional denture application.
